Since I could hold a crayon, I’ve been arty. Yep, arty. “Showily or pretentiously artistic” according to Merriam-Webster.

The word “artistic” has such a formality about it that it seems stuffy. It also doesn’t seem to encompass the other things, that along the road of life, I’ve discovered I’m pretty good at, like floral arranging, making Martha Stewart style party favors, painting a bedroom, or sewing sock monkeys. While personally I don’t think of myself as pretentious, showy sounds about right (hence the website.) There is no fun in creating in a vacuum or a void. Arty things should be shown, viewed, and (whenever possible) enjoyed. And if they can earn you a living, all the better.
