Professional Design: Technology

My career at Indiana University began at University Information Technology Services (UITS) and the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology (OVPIT). UITS is a large department with over 700 staff members on two campuses, IU Bloomington and IUPUI. Due to the sheer size, UITS/OVPIT has its own communications department separate from the larger campus-wide communications and marketing department (which I am currently employed).

UITS has many divisions each doing their own part of a larger IT whole. Some of the IT is student-based. Some faculty and research. Other divisions are infrastructure and systems. And others are logistics. Because of the scope, the kinds of design pieces generated runs the gamut of IT-related content. The pieces featured were created between the years 2002–2008 for various units/divisions of UITS or OVPIT.
